The GR712RC can be delivered in three quality levels: flight, engineering and prototype. It is provided in a 240-pin, 0.5 mm pitch high-reliability ceramic quad flat package (CQFP-240).

GRMON is a debug tool, optimized for the GR712RC and providing a non-intrusive debug environment. It provides execution control with support for multiple CPUs and OS threads.

TSIM-LEON3 is a highly accurate simulator, proving a high precision dual-core model for the GR712RC with bus contention and inter-processor effects modeled on a per instruction level. Software executed on the simulator has binary compatibility with the real silicon. The simulator also provides support for I/O and memory emulation, including SDRAM, PROM and caches.

We have developed a reference design for an on board computer based on the GR712RC. The design has been adopted in the JUICE mission and has been used in seven out of the ten JUICE science instruments.
